R550-2 is handled by engineering

Contact engineering for the current specification, availability and a TAA configuration review.

What engineering confirms, and what we need from you

TAA compliance applies to the supplied configuration. Ask DuroPC to confirm the processor, storage, expansion cards, optical drive, accessories and any substitutions in your quote, together with the documentation available for that build.

Confirmed per build, by engineering

  • Processor
  • Storage
  • Expansion cards
  • Optical drive
  • Accessories and any substitutions
  • Documentation available for that build

Send with your request

  • Application and quantity
  • Required delivery date
  • Operating system
  • Expansion cards and interfaces
  • The TAA requirement from your solicitation
  • Origin or compliance documentation your purchasing team needs

What the clause asks you to check

The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) affects certain U.S. government purchases. Where FAR 52.225-5 applies, the contract generally calls for U.S.-made or designated-country end products, subject to the clause and the offer. Country-of-origin rules include substantial transformation; an assembly location alone does not establish eligibility. Check the requirements of your solicitation and the exact configuration being supplied.

Do not assume that an option shown in a configurator has been reviewed for your TAA purchase. Confirm the complete quoted build, including accessories and substitutions, with engineering. If components or options change after review, ask for a renewed configuration review.

A procurement requirement is not a compatibility review

Share the exact card models, PCIe requirements, drivers, operating system and enclosure constraints for test, measurement or industrial control applications. Meeting the clause does not make a card work in the slot you need it in.
