DuroPC and TAA Compliance

DuroPC offers selected industrial computer configurations for purchasing teams with TAA requirements. Confirm the exact supplied configuration and documentation with engineering before ordering.

What Is the TAA?

The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) affects certain U.S. government purchases. Where FAR 52.225-5 applies, the contract generally calls for U.S.-made or designated-country end products, subject to the clause and the offer. Country-of-origin rules include substantial transformation; an assembly location alone does not establish eligibility. Check the requirements of your solicitation and the exact configuration being supplied.

Compliance Requirements

TAA compliance applies to the supplied configuration. Ask DuroPC to confirm the processor, storage, expansion cards, optical drive, accessories and any substitutions in your quote, together with the documentation available for that build.

Implications

  • Non-compliance can disqualify companies from government contracts
  • Legal consequences including fines and penalties
  • Reputational impact on business relationships
