Industrial Computers With Conventional PCI Slots

Conventional PCI did not disappear because the cards stopped working. A great deal of instrumentation, motion control and I/O hardware was built for 32-bit PCI and has no PCIe equivalent worth buying, so the slot still has to exist.

DuroPC specifies machines with real conventional PCI slots across rackmount, tower and single-board-computer platforms — in backplane systems the slot count is a design choice rather than whatever a consumer motherboard happened to leave in.

The machines below are the ones most often specified around PCI cards. Many more in the catalogue carry at least one PCI slot; the link beneath the grid filters the full set by slot count.
